VTE from Urgent technology is a multi-media training suite that allows the creation and management of multiple courses from a management portal. Adopted by BP (USA) and the API (American Petroleum Institute) as the industry standard for safety training. Accessed via your web browser (so no special equipment needed), users are able to undertake training courses from any location.

Course Content
VTE supports course content in a wide range of formats including flash providing an engaging interactive experience, to Microsoft Power point which can provide a static web based slide show.
Health & Safety training as standard
The basic system (and ‘build you own’ is included) provides Health & Safety training modules as standard. Modules include (but are not limited to):
- Manual Handling/lifting
- Food hygiene
- Fire Safety
- Working at heights
- Personal protective equipment
The unique ‘build you own’ functionality means that the opportunity for additional modules is unlimited.
- Courses can be modular and exam based.
- Fully featured online directory to display the summary and the details of the course and company.

Course Assessment
Through the course manager, instructors can attach one or many multiple choice tests to a course and specify criteria such as the required pass mark and the number of attempts a user can make.
- Online certificate verification process to verify every certificate.
- Notifications sent to users when their certifications are due for renewal.

User management
Instructors can control access to their courses through our unique PIN system. To access a course, a user must enrol by entering a single use PIN unique to the course. One PIN can enrol a user on an individual course or a collection of VTE courses.
- Innovative Pin number system enables users to access courses and exams meant for them.
- Courses and examinations can be configured to be free to take or chargeable.

Reporting
VTE has been designed to capture and record the actions of the trainee and provides a comprehensive reporting section for course instructors, on both courses and individual user performance.
- Detailed ad-hoc and scheduled reports on system data including course passes, financial information and expiration of certificates.
